No minimum age to race. Free for kids 7 and under. Use our Contact form to request free kids discount code. Multiple kids but neither under 7? Contact us for a discount. Coffee mug not included unless you pay normal entry fee. 

If you are serving or have served in the military, email us dates and location of service for a 10% off discount code. If you have the code from previous years, it is the same each year and you don’t have to contact us but thank you for your service!

Registration is only available online via credit card or PayPal. Your charge will appear as MI Adventure Racing on your credit card statement.


This year we will offer 100% credits if the race is cancelled. If you simply can’t make the race, please use our free transfer process.

We WILL refund your shirt or other merchandise ordered if you cannot race as long as you cancel before the Monday of race week.

Full refunds are available in the case of a death in the family, military duty or significant financial hardship such as a lost job or major medical expense.

Transfers & Edits
If you created an account. Find the link in your email confirmation or sign in to your registration (if you registered last year under our old Snap system, contact us). Click on Transfer to the right of My Upcoming Events. Enter in the email address of the person receiving the transfer and click the button again. Once the email has been sent, the person receiving the transfer will need to go through the checkout process to receive the transferred registration, even though there is no charge. Once the transfer is successful the original participant will receive a confirmation email. Detailed transfer instructions.

If you did not created an account. Go to the registration page and click “Contact Event” under the event name. Click on the Trying to Edit or Transfer Your Entry green box. On the next page, enter the email address that was used to register. An email will be sent to that address with a link to the page where edits and transfers can be made.

After the online transfer window has closed. We would much prefer to handle transfers online, before the online transfer window closes, usually midnight Wednesday. Here’s the manual form on how to transfer your registration to another racer AFTER the online transfer window closes. Please do this asap before the race and email back to us using the contact us link.

Event Cancellation Policy
Race organizers reserve the right to cancel the event in the case of extended severe weather, health emergency or any other emergency. We will do everything possible to get the event in, but refunds are not available if it is cancelled due to significant costs we must pay in advance of the race (e.g., insurance, permits, vendor deposits, advertising, graphic design, etc.) along with hundreds of hours of planning. If possible, we will reschedule rather than cancel the race. If it is cancelled or you cannot attend on the rescheduled date, we will provide a 100% credit that can be used for Dirty Duel OR Hurt the Dirt this year or next, ending on Dec. 31 of the second year.

In the event of a thunderstorm, we will postpone the race until conditions improve. Extended severe weather may result in cancellation of the event.
